into real nomadic life and stunning landscapes
Spring is a magical time in the Mongolian countryside, when new life emerges and the steppe fills with the joyful sounds of newborn animals. Baby goats, lambs, calves, and other young animals bring charm to nomadic life, while herders work tirelessly to protect them in Mongolia’s harsh climate. Spring is also the season when nomads comb cashmere from their goats, an important tradition and a vital source of income. On this special spring tour, you and your children will experience authentic nomadic life interacting with animals, learning ancient animal husbandry practices, and even helping comb cashmere by hand.
